Included
among the private dining rooms was a well equipped
Library done in the Italian style.
The
Library was stocked with many of the finest literature
of the day as well as issues of Statler Salesmanship,
the company magazine. It was open to all guest
who wished to relax. On special occasions it could
be rented to private parties like the adjoining
private dining rooms.
In
later years the books were removed and the Library
became a regular private dining room. By the 1960's
it was transformed into a Studio Bar, which served
convention patrons.
